The Dare to Dream Project: transforming treatment and care for kids with blood cancer.
Kids are Different
and should be treated differently for their blood cancers.
Introducing The Dare to Dream Project - the bigger, bolder, next phase of LLS Children's Initiative. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) recognizes kids are different and their blood cancers need to be treated differently, so we are daring to change the paradigm of treatment and care of pediatric blood cancers. Our dream is to help as many children as possible get treatment for their cancer. We've already facilitated progress by funding a first-ever pediatric AML Data Commons, a platform that ensures consistency in global data reporting, and by launching the first-ever acute leukemia LLS PedAL Master Clinical Trial, matching patients to treatment based on their cancer's unique tumor biology.
We're daring to improve the quality of life for every child with blood cancer, daring to dream of them thriving. And we're just getting started!
Thank you to our June Consumer Campaign partners who are helping us transform treatment and care for kids with blood cancer.Learn More
The Dare to Dream Project:
powering innovative research, new, safer treatments, support services, and advocacy...for kids.
We are seeking to raise $175 million over the next five years to support global, collaborative research and treatments for children's blood cancers, the LLS PedAL Master Clinical Trial, as well as widening our range of free education, personalized support services, financial assistance, and advocacy on behalf of all children and their families.
We are so thankful for all of our supporters. And with their help, dreams can come true.
We need safer, less toxic, more effective treatment
for kids with blood cancers.
